Veronika Rücker, chief executive of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), will step down from her role at the end of 2021 amid a governance crisis at the body caused by an anonymous letter which accused senior officials of creating a “climate of fear” at the organisation’s headquarters in Frankfurt.
