German sports officials suggest Berlin-Tel Aviv bid for 2036 Olympics

Richard Meng, president of the German Olympic Association in Berlin, and Frank Kowalski, managing director of the 2018 European Athletics Championship in Berlin, have proposed that the German capital and the Israeli city of Tel Aviv submit a joint bid to host the summer Olympic Games in 2036.
