Genius takes data tracking and broadcast augmentation to Portugal with Benfica deal

Sports data and betting services company Genius Sports has struck the first tracking data and broadcast augmentation deal in Portuguese football with Primeira Liga club S.L. Benfica.

The Lisbon outfit has selected Genius Sports for a wide-ranging partnership to help enhance on-field performance levels whilst re-imagining the Benfica fan experience with live broadcast overlays.
