Genius Sports, Second Spectrum expand NBA deal, unveil ‘Dragon’ platform

Sports data and betting services company Genius Sports and its Second Spectrum subsidiary have expanded their deal with the National Basketball Association (NBA), with the respective parties working together to launch ‘Dragon’ – a next-generation technology platform.

The multi-year contract expansion announced today (Thursday) names Second Spectrum an official NBA League Pass augmentation provider and an official NBA team basketball analytics provider.
