GEF aiming to bring ‘credibility, legitimacy and prestige’ to esports

The Global Esports Federation, which launched in Singapore last December, is bidding to play a global leadership role in the development of esports and is founded on the ideas of "credibility, legitimacy and prestige", its chief operating officer Paul Foster has said.

Speaking at the All That Matters Online 2020 conference, the Australian said the organisation's aims included bringing the esports community together and getting greater recognition for esports within the Olympic movement.
