LaLiga agrees licensing deal in China for products aimed at youth

Chinese company Global Dynamic Media (GDM) has secured a five-year deal for licensing rights to produce LaLiga-themed products. GDM will use likenesses and imagery from LaLiga clubs and players to create cartoon doll figures, statues and stationery aimed at young fans, with other product lines to be explored in the future.

Jiujie Sports, a subsidiary of GDM, will be responsible for the commercial development of the LaLiga IP, with most of the merchandise expected to be sold online.
