Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber has not completely closed the door on league expansion, but he says MLS will not be adding any new teams for the foreseeable future.
Six expansion teams are joining the league in the next three years, taking MLS to 30 franchises. Inter Miami and Nashville SC are joining MLS this season, Austin FC and Charlotte will join in 2021, while St. Louis and Sacramento will field teams in 2022.
