A fresh proposal to bring a Formula 1 race to London has been floated through the presentation of a project that would create a circuit akin to Montreal’s Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, home of the Canadian Grand Prix.

LDN Collective, a group of built environmental specialists, has worked with consultancy firm Dar to draw up a new plan for the Royal Docks to transform the area into a “globally recognised waterfront destination” for sports, leisure and entertainment, and to host a potential London Grand Prix.
