Fresh investment option emerges for Wembley

International Property Securities Exchange (IPSX) Group, a new exchange focused on the property market, has put forward a fresh investment proposal for London’s Wembley Stadium in the wake of last week’s collapsed takeover deal.

UK broadcaster Sky News said IPSX has approached the English Football Association’s (FA’s) advisers to propose a £600m (€673.6m/$786.2m) listing of Wembley. The approach is said to have been made by Anthony Gahan, the investment banker who is non-executive chairman at IPSX, which is currently awaiting full approval from the City regulator and is expected to go live by the end of 2018.
