The executive board of France’s Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR) has approved the issuing of a domestic broadcast rights auction for the top-tier Top 14 in a sales process launched in the same week as that of France’s Professional Football League (LFP).

The invitation to tender covers four seasons from 2023-24 to 2026-27 and includes combined reserve prices for three packages that total €105m ($128m) per season, an uplift on the total of €97m currently paid by pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus.
