Paralympics aired FTA in 49 sub-Saharan African countries in TVMS distribution

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has detailed plans to provide free-to-air coverage of the forthcoming Tokyo Paralympics to 49 countries in sub-Saharan Africa, with content produced by the TV Media Sport (TVMS) agency.

The Paralympics will run from August 24 to September 5 and, for the first time, African viewers will have access to live coverage of the opening and closing ceremonies. Daily 52-minute highlights packages of Africa-focused content will also be provided in English, French and Portuguese.
