FOX SPORTS CHANNELS TO COVER CONFEDERATION GOLD CUP

Twelve teams representing the best national teams from North and Central America and the Caribbean are scheduled to participate in this biennial tournament, which will be hosted in the US at venues including Miami, San Diego and Los Angeles.
Gold Cup ’98 champion, Mexico, will defend its third title (1993, 1996, 1998) against 11 teams including top national teams from the Football Confederation (Jamaica, Honduras, United States, Haiti, Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica, Canada) plus three invited teams (Colombia, South Korea and Peru).
