Expo 2020 Dubai has agreed a sponsorship deal with the Formula One motor-racing championship.
The 14-month contract will serve to promote the next edition of the World Expo, with the event to become an official sponsor of F1 for the remainder of the 2019 season and the entire 2020 campaign.
The sponsorship package involves activations to raise awareness of Expo 2020 and will include trackside and digital advertising at seven unnamed grands prix in 2020. To commence the association, the first trackside advertising will be seen at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 29 to December 1.
Expo 2020, which takes place from October 20 to April 10, 2021, will be the largest event ever staged in the Arab world and is set to welcome 192 participating countries and host 25 million visits from across the globe over 173 days.
