Formula 1 TV ratings in US up 54 per cent over 2020

The rising popularity of Formula 1 in the United States has been further shown by ESPN networks averaging 934,000 viewers per race in 2021, shattering the previous domestic broadcast record of 748,000 set in 1995.

In addition, with races airing on ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2, the 2021 mark was up by 54 per cent compared to the 2020 season average of 608,000 viewers, and up 39 per cent compared to the 2019 season average of 672,000 viewers.
