An audience of more than 5 million Dutch viewers watched the exciting finale to the Formula 1 season yesterday (Sunday) in which home favourite Max Verstappen beat Lewis Hamilton to win his first world championship title.
A total of 4,917,000 people watched the race on Ziggo Sport and the Ziggo Sport Select channel, the exclusive broadcaster of Formula 1 in the Netherlands, according to Dutch publication AD. A further 404,000 viewers watched on the Ziggo Go streaming platform, meaning the race attracted an overall audience of 5,321,000 in the country.
