Foxtel channels attract 437,000 viewers for F1 finale

The controversial end to the 2021 Formula 1 season drew a strong audience in Australia, with 437,000 viewers staying up late to watch Max Verstappen win his first championship by overtaking Sir Lewis Hamilton on the final lap of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The combined audience across Foxtel channels and streaming services Foxtel Go, Foxtel Now and Kayo was the third largest since Foxtel began broadcasting Formula 1 in 2015.
