Sports betting and data services company Genius Sports has appointed Sir Hugh Robertson, the former UK Minister for Sport and the London Olympics, to a position on its business advisory council.
In the role, which starts with immediate effect, Robertson will help to identify strategic development opportunities for the firm. Genius Sports indicated in a statement that the appointment will also strengthen its governance and reputation within the sports data and technology space.
