Former Astros GM Luhnow acquires Spanish club Leganés

A consortium led by former Houston Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow has acquired Spanish second-tier football club Leganés.

The move comes approximately two and a half years after Luhnow was suspended for a year by Major League Baseball for his role in improper sign stealing using electronic means. He was subsequently fired by the Astros, and has not returned to baseball.
