The National Hockey League's Florida Panthers have brought in three new senior executives to the team's front office: Lauren Cochran as chief marketing officer, James Suh as chief financial officer and Mark Zarthar as chief strategy officer.
Cochran most recently served as chief of digital marketing at the National Basketball Association's Miami Heat. Prior to that, she spent seven years for the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers in roles ranging from sales and service to marketing and digital media.
Cochran will oversee marketing, content, creative, social media, game presentation, retail and digital media for the Panthers, FLA Live Arena, Panthers IceDen, and Ft. Lauderdale War Memorial.
Suh joins the Panthers following an 11-year tenure with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE), which runs the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs, NBA's Toronto Raptors, Canadian Football League's Toronto Argonauts and Major League Soccer's Toronto FC. He most recently served as its vice president of finance.
Meanwhile, Zarthar most recently held the role of senior vice president of marketing for the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers. He has previously held roles with Major League Baseball's Houston Astros and Anheuser-Busch, where he served as global director of sports marketing.The announcements come ahead of the Panthers hosting the NHL All-Star Game on February 3-4.

Elsewhere, Jameson Whiskey was recently named the official whiskey of the Panthers and FLA Live Arena. As part of the agreement, the Jameson Crossbar premium bar has been introduced to the Plaza Level.Jameson becomes the presenting partner of the Panthers St. Patrick’s Day game on March 16. The company will also host several Florida Panthers watch parties throughout the season at participating bars across Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties.
