FIL World Championships moved to Germany, Lake Placid ‘to lose’ IBSF Worlds

The International Luge Federation (FIL) has reassigned hosting rights for its 2021 World Championships from Whistler in Canada to Berchtesgaden/Königsee in Germany.

News of the FIL decision came with the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) set to move its World Championships from the US resort of Lake Placid.
