FIL cuts Luge World Cup opener, citing Qatar 2022 impact on TV coverage

The International Luge Federation (FIL) has cancelled the opening round of the 2022-23 Luge World Cup season, citing football’s 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar.

The FIL said it recently received confirmation that the World Cup event in Innsbruck, Austria, on November 26-27 will not be televised.
