Fifa’s Valcke expects US interest in hosting 2026 World Cup

Jérôme Valcke, the secretary general of Fifa, football’s global governing body, is expecting the US to bid to host the 2026 World Cup after the 2014 edition in Brazil sparked “unprecedented” interest in the country.
