Fifa sanctions Spanish federation in case involving Madrid giants

Fifa has today (Tuesday) imposed a fine of CHF220,000 (€201,000/$221,000) on the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) for breaking rules governing the international transfer and registration of minors by allowing LaLiga clubs Atletico de Madrid and Real Madrid to sign underage players from other countries.
