Ivo Ferriani has been re-elected as the president of the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (FIBT), which has also confirmed the award of two major events to Germany.
Ferriani, who has led the FIBT since 2010, secured a further four-year term at the helm with an overwhelming majority. Heike Grösswang was also confirmed as secretary general of the federation until 2018.
Meanwhile Stuttgart in Germany was named as the host city of the 2015 Bobsleigh World Push Championships. The two-day event will take place at the central Schlossplatz and is expected to attract 70,000 spectators.
The FIBT also announced that the 2015 World Championships would take place in Germany from February 23 to March 8.
