FIA launches tender process for new F1 teams

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has officially launched an application process to identify potential new teams for Formula 1.

The earliest a new team could enter F1 would be 2025, with the FIA welcoming interest from entities with a “serious intent” to join the series. The governing body cited a high level of interest from a number of potential candidates.
