The French Football Federation (FFF) has hailed the successful experiment of equipping the referee with a microphone for Friday’s Ligue 1 game between Olympique Lyonnais and Nantes.
While the feed from Benoît Millot’s microphone was not broadcast live by Prime Video, the Ligue 1 rights-holder shared excerpts of the referee’s conversations on the pitch via social media over the weekend.
