Formula 1 has today (Thursday) extended its race deal for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix through to 2030, as this year’s edition of the motor racing world championship prepares to come to a dramatic conclusion this weekend at the Yas Marina Circuit.

The deal with Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management comes with both the drivers’ and constructors’ world championships on the line as Mercedes-AMG Petronas and Red Bull Racing, and their respective drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, battle it out in the United Arab Emirates.
