Formula 1 has terminated its rights agreement with Match TV in Russia following the country’s invasion of Ukraine, the Gazprom Media-owned broadcaster has announced.
The move comes after F1 removed the Russian Grand Prix from its 2022 calendar before later terminating its contract with race promoter Rosgonki. Russian driver Nikita Mazepin (pictured) has also had his contract terminated with US-based team Haas.
