Internet giant Meta is losing a swathe of sports staff, including its most senior figures, SportBusiness understands, as part of the wider layoffs of 11,000 employees globally that were announced last week and associated requests to leave the business.
Senior sports staff exiting include: Peter Hutton, global head of media partnerships; Leonardo Lenz Cesar, head of media partnerships in Latin America; and Joyee Biswas, head of media partnerships in Asia Pacific.
