Pascal Fratellia, the long-serving European Broadcasting Union sports rights executive, is switching from his role of commercial director at Eurovision Sport to head up a dedicated Olympics team at the free-to-air broadcasting consortium.
Fratellia was today (Friday) named to the newly-created director of Olympics post and will begin a recruitment process in the coming weeks to build an Olympics-focused team. The EBU and Warner Bros. Discovery recently emerged successful during the International Olympic Committee’s European media rights tender.
