The European Tour has announced three new Official Partners for the ‘UK Swing’ stages of the golf tour – beermaker Estrella Damm, mobile app Swing Index and car brand Porsche.
The brands will support the six-event UK Swing, part of the tour’s revised 2020 schedule, which teed off last week with the Betfred British Masters.
The swing continues with the Hero Open and English Championship before moving to Wales for the Celtic Classic and ISPS Handa Wales Open, and concluding at the ISPS Handa UK Championship in late August.
Estrella Damm is already the title sponsor of the Andalucía Masters – the first event to take place in continental Europe following the UK Swing.
Porsche has been the title sponsor of the Porsche European Open since its return to the European Tour’s international schedule in 2015. The 2020 edition of the event has been cancelled due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
Swing Index launched as an official venture by the European Tour in 2019. It uses artificial intelligence technology that enables golfers to improve their golf swing through the use of a mobile app.

“These three companies join a number of brands who have committed their support to the UK Swing, continuing the momentum generated by the European Tour with the resumption of the 2020 Race to Dubai.”
The announcement comes after Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, was announced as title partner of this week’s Hero Open at the Marriott Forest of Arden in Birmingham.
