European Tour Group appoints Nicoli as chair, McGinley steps down from board

The European Tour Group has appointed Eric Nicoli, former head of music record label conglomerate EMI Group, as the new chair of its board of directors.

The 72-year-old Nicoli replaces David Williams and becomes only the third chair in the European Tour’s 50-year history. Williams stepped down at the end of 2022 in accordance with the board’s rotational system.
