Esports competition operator Esports League Gaming (ESL) has signed electronics company LG as an Official Partner to season three of the ESL Mobile Open.
As part of the deal, participants in the Esports Mobile will use LG smartphones as they compete in its final, held on November 15 in Atlanta.
Other activations will see the brand’s latest smartphone showcased during the live broadcast of the event, highlighting the phone’s capacity to be used for mobile gaming.
The model will also be on display at a booth within the venue, with fans able to participate in free-play competitions on the device.
LG become the second North American sponsor for the event. AT&T remain the event’s Title Sponsor. It was a founding sponsor to the league which launched in March 2019.
The ESL Mobile Open is broadcast across digital platforms YouTube and Twitch. Over 324,000 took part in its second season, with season three beginning today, October 17.
