Ellis steps down as Broncos president after Walton group takeover is approved

Joe Ellis has stepped down from his role as Denver Broncos' president and chief executive after National Football League owners unanimously approved the team's takeover by a consortium led by Walmart heir Rob Walton, in a record-setting deal worth $4.65bn (€4.35bn).
