Eléa Golf Club welcomes new head professional

Morgan joins the team at Cyprus’ number one ranked golf course having worked as the assistant professional of the Royal Wimbledon Golf Club in London.

“Karl’s role at the prestigious Royal Wimbledon Golf Club has given him valuable insight and experience, and coupled with his time in the USA, this will undoubtedly assist him in enhancing Eléa Golf Club’s reputation as a centre of excellence for coaching and tuition,” said Ross Robertson, director of golf operations at Eléa Estate. “Karl also joins Eléa with a fine playing record and has built an excellent reputation for coaching golfers of all levels, from juniors through to top-level players. Karl will be a great asset to our team and we look forward to welcoming him to Cyprus later this month.”

Morgan added: “Eléa Golf Club has very quickly established itself as one of the top golf destinations in Europe and it is rapidly helping Cyprus to enhance its reputation as a must-visit place for travelling golfers. I can’t wait to get started and help the team build on its already strong reputation for quality and exceptional service.”

Since opening in October 2010, the Sir Nick Faldo-designed course has received rave reviews, including a ‘Top 10 new international golf courses of 2010’ ranking from Golf Magazine.
