Formula One chief executive Bernie Ecclestone and International Automobile Federation (FIA) president Jean Todt have been handed a new mandate to address “pressing issues” affecting the motor racing series, as fresh doubt over the long-term future of the United States Grand Prix emerged yesterday (Wednesday).
