Earthquakes name Shawlee president, secure Roku partnership

Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes have appointed veteran executive Jared Shawlee as the new club president.

Shawlee served as Earthquakes chief operating officer for the past five-and-a-half years, where he helped secure a naming rights partnership with PayPal and jersey sponsorship deal with Intermedia.
