Düsseldorf and Durban contest hosting rights for 2023 ITTF World Championships

The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has confirmed that the German city of Düsseldorf and Durban in South Africa will contest hosting rights for the 2023 edition of its World Championships.

The two cities will present their bids virtually on September 21 as part of the ITTF’s video conference series. The winning bid will be announced at the governing body’s AGM, which will take place virtually a week later on September 28.
