Dorna Sports, commercial rights-holder of the MotoGP and Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) motorcycling championships, has announced a restructure following the news that long-serving director and partner, Pau Serracanta, will depart the organisation.
Serracanta has communicated that he has decided to leave his role in the company in order to take on fresh challenges. Serracanta joined Dorna Sports in February 1999 as sales manager and in September 2000 became commercial director and shareholder. In February 2005 he was promoted to managing director for the commercial area.
