Media group Disney has acquired rights in Brazil to this year’s edition of the French Open tennis tournament, which gets underway on Sunday.
The deal boosts Disney’s tennis portfolio in Brazil, where it already holds rights to the Australian Open and US Open grand slams, as well as ATP and WTA Tour events. From 2024, it will also hold rights to Wimbledon.
