Digiturk ups bid to land global Turkish Süper Lig deal as tortuous tender scrapped

Digiturk has retained domestic and international broadcast rights to the Turkish Süper Lig after a gruelling tender process was finally shelved in favour of a two-year extension with the Turkish pay-television broadcaster owned by beIN Media Group.

Faced with no broadcaster in place just six weeks before the start of the 2022-23 season, the Turkish Football Federation has announced a new agreement with the league’s long-standing broadcaster.
