The Dentsu agency has extended its long-running commercial rights relationship in Japan with the Asian Football Confederation to cover the 2021-24 cycle.

Under a fresh deal between the two parties, Dentsu will be responsible for selling the broadcast and sponsorship rights for the confederation’s flagship national and club tournaments, including the AFC Asian Qualifiers, the 2023 Asian Cup (to be held in China), the 2022 Women’s Asian Cup (to be held in India) and the AFC Champions League.
