Denmark lined up as sole EHF Euro 2020 host as Norway withdraws

The Norwegian Handball Federation (NHF) has been forced to withdraw its co-hosting rights to the European Handball Federation’s women’s Euro 2020, with plans now being worked on for Denmark to become the sole host.

The NHF said the decision has been taken on the basis of the Norwegian health authorities’ “thorough assessments, as well as the political authorities clear demands and wishes” amid the Covid-19 situation in the country.
