Global streaming service DAZN has acquired short Fifa World Cup highlights rights in Japan.

It is understood that DAZN will show three-minute highlights of each match from this year’s tournament, which begins on November 20, along with a daily review programme on its subscription streaming platform. In addition, it will broadcast a World Cup version of its Judge Replay programme, which usually analyses Japanese J.League matches.
