The International Tennis Federation and its commercial rights-holder for the Davis Cup, Kosmos Tennis, have announced another refresh of the men’s national team tournament, but have stopped short of confirming a hosting rights deal with Abu Dhabi for the final stages.

The 2021 Davis Cup came to a close yesterday (Sunday), with Russia defeating Croatia in the final held in Madrid. Ahead of the final, the ITF and Kosmos spelled out their vision for the 2022 Finals, which will follow on from this year’s multi-city format.
