David Beckham to co-produce Inter Miami documentary series

David Beckham is co-producing a documentary series about his Major League Soccer expansion club Inter Miami CF in partnership with LeBron James’s media company Uninterrupted.

Former Manchester United and England midfielder Beckham is a minority owner in Inter Miami, which is joining MLS in 2020.

As reported by Variety, Beckham has created his own media company Studio 99, which will develop documentaries, TV shows and other formats, with stories based on sports, travel, and fashion.

Some will feature Beckham himself, including the Inter Miami documentary series which “will chart the [team’s] journey – from conception to launch in spring 2020”.

Uninterrupted was formed by LA Lakers star James and his longtime business partner Maverick Carter.
