CTS Eventim to operate Milan’s planned 16,000-seat Olympic arena

German ticketing and live entertainment company CTS Eventim has been awarded a contract to plan and construct a new 16,000-seat arena in Milan, with the venue scheduled for completion in 2025 ahead of the winter Olympic Games in the Italian city the following year.

Construction on the Milano Santa Giulia Arena is set to begin in autumn 2022 and it is hoped the facility will be made available to the International Olympic Committee at the start of 2026 ahead. After the Olympics, CTS Eventim will continue operating the arena.
