Anschutz Entertainment Group has announced a “nine-figure investment” in large-scale improvements and property upgrades at Crypto.com Arena and the surrounding LA Live Xbox Plaza in downtown Los Angeles, California.
The renovations are scheduled for completion in the fall of 2024 with the arena still open during the entirety of the revamp. Crypto.com Arena, formerly known as Staples Center, is home to the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association, the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League, and the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women’s National Basketball Association. The venue is also one of the most prominent in the country for major concerts.
