The National Hockey League's Arizona Coyotes are expecting to generate 50 per cent more in season-ticket revenue at Arizona State University's 5,000-seat Mullett Arena than they did at former home Gila River Arena, which has a capacity of 17,125.

The $140m (€140m) multipurpose facility will house the Coyotes for a minimum of three years, with the option of a fourth season, while the team looks to construct a new $2bn arena and mixed-use entertainment district in Tempe, Arizona.
