The CJ Cup will be held in the US for the third successive year as Covid-19 restrictions in South Korea continue to halt the golf tournament’s return to its homeland, the organisers of the event have announced.

The tournament will now be held at the Congaree Golf Club in South Carolina from October 17 to 23. It comes after the tournament was twice moved from South Korea, where it was staged following its inception as the country's first official PGA Tour event five years ago, to courses in Las Vegas because of the pandemic.
